Sleep issues? Give up caffeine!

So as part of my gentle detox programme I gave up my daily coffee (1 good one) and 2 cups of regular tea. We all know that caffeine is a stimulant and can play havoc with your blood sugar levels. However, I did not think this intake excessive and really did not expect to feel much different.

But it just goes to show you don’t know until you try and I have to say my quality of sleep has improved tremendously; I don’t wake at night and feel refreshed in the morning. Of course I do still have my green tea and Rooibosch tea so that surely helps with any cravings.

So if you suffer with poor sleep and can’t get up in the morning why not give up caffeine for a while and see how you get on?
