Because trying to do it all is draining, and it’s time for that to change
Come join Totally Nourished
A 3 month 1:1 nutrition & lifestyle journey that’ll nourish your body & mind so you can thrive in your 40s
You deserve to thrive through your 40s free from feeling confused, overwhelmed or stressed when it comes to your health
I see you..
You're busy working and juggling a home life that's so full, you feel you're leaving your own health to suffer
You go to wear your favourite jeans for that one night out with the girls and they don't fit. But nothings changed diet wise
You're constantly exhausted and you can't think straight. You find yourself staring into space when you should be finishing that report. Your brain just doesn't want to work
Anxiety is creeping in. Your to-do list is overwhelming and the confidence you had in yourself is evaporating
You're snappy and irritable with the kids over the smallest thing. This is not how you imagined yourself as a parent.
Sleep is evading you. Between tossing and turning, your mind just isn't switching off when you want to sleep
You're eating chocolate and biscuits (foods you feel you 'shouldn't') to give you that energy boost and you end up feeling worse
You can’t pin-point what’s happening. Could it be the perimenopause? Or is it something else?
You just know you don’t feel you anymore

What if…
You woke up each day refreshed, revitalised and ready for the day. Your work gets done and you can leave it behind you at the end of the day
You know what you need to do (& follow through with it). No more following restrictive, complicated diets or plans that leave you feeling guilty when you can’t follow them to the T. You enjoy your food & love your body!
Your sleep is better. You have a bedtime routine that switches off that busy head, leaving you refreshed and rested.
You're less moody and less likely to fly off the handle at the slightest thing. Spending a day with the kids is fun and relaxing, not overwhelming and fraught with tension
It’s easy to create nourishing, delicious meals to eat on a daily basis, without needing the time or skills to be a chef
Life feels more balanced now. You're starting to say 'No' to those added stressors, and 'Yes' to the things that really matter to you
You felt free. Free to choose what foods you like and know that they suit you. You no longer feel guilty over eating something you 'shouldn't' but enjoy it for what it is
You actually want to cosy up with your partner and spend quality time together again. Your buzzing head is not as busy, you're so much more relaxed
‘It was the best investment in myself and totally changed my approach to the way I eat and enjoy food.’
I came to see Suzanne as I wanted to lose weight, but with a young family I didn’t want a restrictive diet, I wanted something that I could live with. I also wanted to make sure I was supporting my other health issues in the right way.
I loved Suzanne’s approach, in fact I had to check with her that was I doing it right as it was so straightforward. After years of ‘diet culture’ ingrained in my brain meant I thought it would, or should, be hard. I went from constantly snacking on protein bars to have such variety in my diet. I don’t feel I need to snack anymore I’m so full and my energy is much better than it was.
I had some challenging times with sick children over the three months, but I was still able to keep with the good habits. Along with Suzanne’s compassion and her encouragement for self-compassion towards myself it really helped at that time.

Hi, I’m Suzanne
My heart goes out to women when I hear that they just don’t know what is going on with their body. They know something is out of kilter, but it’s not showing up in tests and no one is listening. What used to work in supporting their health just isn’t any more and they’re confused by what they can do next.
I completely understand. I’ve had to re-think what I need to do to support my health in recent years. For me this has meant reaching out for help, learning to say ‘no’ more often and making sure I’m making my health a priority, even amongst the chaos that is being a working mum.
I learnt to listen to what my body was telling me. It was this that really helped me to understand what nourishes me and what was ‘good’ for me
Through listening to what our bodies are telling us, it’s easier to give it what nourishment it needs and to know when we’ve pushed it too far.
From my experience in working with women, once they feed their body the food it needs their energy improves, and so too does any anxiety, sleep and their overall zest for life.

There’s never a ‘right’ time to start
There will always be something else that will take up your time, work ( and life) will never get ‘less busy’.
We can’t change our circumstances, but we can change how we’re equipped to deal with them (not them dictating how we feel)
This is for you if you…
Want to learn about nourished health and general wellbeing
Know that nurtition and lifestyle will support this hormonal transition, regardless whether HRT is an option for you or not
This is not for you if you are…
‘I love eating out with my friends now..’
I started working with Suzanne as I wanted to develop a better relationship with food while looking to improve my health.
From the beginning I really felt that I was listened to and the plan was very much tailored to me. My worries and fears around strict nutrition protocols were identified very early and addressed in an extremely supportive manner.
Over the three months I found myself living in the moment and enjoying my food but not allowing it to control me as it had done in the past.

FAQ’s
I’ve listed here the most common questions I’m contacted about but if you have any others or are curious about my work then drop me an email.
Who is this program suitable for?
Note: If you have a pre-diagnosed medical condition you do need to get approval from your GP or medical team before starting any new nutrition & lifestyle protocol.
Will you give me a meal plan? Do I have to love cooking?
I’m not here to turn you into a chef or force you into any one particular way of eating.
I prefer not to give you meal plans, but rather tweaking what you already cook I have found is the best, long-term approach that will fit in with your life. In this way you learn why the various foods are on your plate and how they’re benefiting you.
I do give you a few recipes to get started with, mainly for ideas (If you’re the same as me, you’ve probably hundreds of cookbooks already!)
Home cooked food is the aim, but that doesn’t mean everything from scratch either.
I've tried various health programs in the past, but I've never completed them. How is this different?
Secondly, the 1-1 sessions and instant messaging access to me will give you accountability to make and stick with those changes you have agreed upon. I believe having someone to check in with on a regular basis creates the outcomes you’re looking for. That’s the role I play as a mentor.
We can find a way to keep you accountable that works for you – I can leave you to your own devices between sessions, or check-in with you weekly, or daily if you need via email or messaging.
Another key point of accountability is that we stick to the 12-week time frame. Continually stretching out the sessions and not implementing the agreed protocols won’t give you the desired outcome, so I will flag this if I see cancelling and shifting sessions becomes too regular. This is done from a place of love and wanting change, which is why you’ve booked to work with me.
Why is the program 3 months?
Will you recommend supplements?
However, I prefer to do as much as I can through food and lifestyle supports, so any supplements will be kept to a minimum and discussed with you prior to inclusion in your protocol.
Are you different to a dietician? What is the difference?
As a nutritional therapist (NT) I am qualified to provide individualised dietary and lifestyle advice for those who want to find safe, natural solutions to a specific health concern. I look at the whole person, what’s happening from the digestive system to what’s stressors are effecting your bloating, blood sugar control or hormonal balance. I support not just diagnosed ailments, but the little things like feeling tired and bloated. As a properly qualified nutritional therapist, I am subject to the code of ethics and regulations of the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI).
