1. Nourish and Reset – choosing the right foods to eat for you

This first step supports you in tailoring your diet to suit your needs.

The foods we eat influence how we feel. From having lots of energy, or none at all. Long-term certain foods can also lead to inflammation in our body, increasing our risk for any number of diseases in the future.

 

This focus is great if you’re happy to work on your own, but you’re confused as to where to start and what foods you really need to optimise.

2. Feed and Nurture – a gut cenetred approach to health

A gut that has a large diversity of beneficial gut bacteria is more resilient when it comes to long-term health and overall immunity.

Introducing the foods that our gut bacteria love the most and increasing the gut bacteria by including fermented foods and prebiotic foods your gut health will be strengthened and resilient well into the future.

Once I book, what happens next?

You will be taken directly to my client management software, Practice Better, where you can pick a date and time to suit you. You will be asked what area in particular you would like to focus on. You will also be asked to create an account in Practice Better. This is a secure platform through which you'll receive all your recommendations.

You’ll then receive a questionnaire for you to tell me exactly why you’ve booked the power hour, any health complaints, medications, and supplements that you may already be taking. A 3-day diet journal is also requested so that I can see exactly where you are now in terms of diet and what changes are needed.

During the session we will go through the health goal you'd like to focus on in detail along with your current food diary.

After the session I’ll send you a personalised protocol full of tips and tricks to implementing your new food and lifestyle changes. Additional information sheets and resources will also be sent to you if necessary so that you fully understand the ‘why’ behind the changes you want to make

Who is a Nourishing Power Hour for?

A power hour is for anyone who needs advice on how to support a health concern naturally and is happy to work on their own with minimal support or accountability.

I love helping people make the best of their health by making small changes to their diet and lifestyle.

All my recommendations are things that I have researched and learned to incorporate into my own life on a daily basis. I have seen the benefits in my own and family’s’ health from doing so and I love empowering others to make the same changes to feel the benefit.

Can I book multiple Power hour sessions?

No, sorry..

Power Hours are very much one-off sessions into a specific health area that you want to cover and they offer a short follow-up for accountability. While these are personalised to your situation and will improve your health & wellbeing, they may not go far enough for more chronic complaints or where you may need more support and accountability to achieve your health goals.

If you feel you need to delve deeper into your health concerns  or you have already tried this (or similar) one-off sessions and feel you need extra support and accountability then I would recommend my Totally Nourished You programme. With the structured approach in that programme, along with the follow-up sessions I would be better able to support you in achieving your health goals.

What happens if I find that I need more support after the Power Hour session?

That’s no problem at all. We can look at transferring you over to the Totally Nourished You Package. Your initial session as part of the Nourishing Power session will be taken into account and the cost of the 12-week package will be adjusted.
