Bone broth
- Use Joints, bones, a piece of meat on the bone, whole chicken, giblets from chicken
- Put the bones, joints and meats into a large pan and fill it with water, add natural unprocessed salt to your taste and a teaspoon of black peppercorns, roughly crushed, 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar to draw out the minerals – let this sit for about an hour
- Add some chopped vegetables like carrots, leeks, onion, bay leaf
- Bring to boil, cover and simmer on a low heat for 2.5-3hrs
- Broth can be kept in fridge or freeze in separate containers/bags for future use
