During this we will go through your health goals, any symptoms, health history and current food diary.

Everyone is different, there’s no one solution to fit all. This plan will be tailored to your needs, goals and your lifestyle. The plan will be broken down into smaller steps that will be built on each meeting, so as not to overwhelm

4 x mentoring / accountability sessions (taken every 2 weeks) 45mins

We don’t have a magic wand and nourished health takes time. Every session we’ll troubleshoot what is and isn’t working for YOU and how to overcome any obstacles. Over the 12 weeks we’ll gradually add in new foods to nourish your health into the future

Final session (60 minutes)

During this session we’ll review where you are now and what needs to be put in place so that you can continue the journey you’ve started here.

To avoid overwhelm I’ve recorded some videos / tutorials that will help you to understand the why behind the changes we’re making via your protocol. These are available to access any time you need.

FAQ’s

I’ve listed here the most common questions I’m contacted about but if you have any others or are curious about my work then drop me an email.

Who is this program suitable for?

This program is suitable anyone that is serious about up-levelling their health and wellbeing. It is not a ‘quick-fix’ solution and will require commitment. We will look at lifestyle factors as well dietary, and changes may be needed there too.

Note: If you have a pre-diagnosed medical condition you do need to get approval from your GP or medical team before starting any new nutrition & lifestyle protocol.

Will you give me a meal plan? Do I have to love cooking?

No to both.

I’m not here to turn you into a chef or force you into any one particular way of eating.

I prefer not to give you meal plans, but rather tweaking what you already cook I have found is the best, long-term approach that will fit in with your life. In this way you learn why the various foods are on your plate and how they’re benefiting you.

I do give you a few recipes to get started with, mainly for ideas (If you’re the same as me, you’ve probably hundreds of cookbooks already!)

Home cooked food is the aim, but that doesn’t mean everything from scratch either.

I've tried various health programs in the past, but I've never completed them. How is this different?

This program is different in two ways. First we’ll both set your health goals together. I have all the advice and know-how for the best protocol for you, but that may not be what you need or feel able to do right now. So we’ll work together to find the right fit for you and take it from there.

Secondly, the 1-1 sessions and instant messaging access to me will give you accountability to make and stick with those changes you have agreed upon. I believe having someone to check in with on a regular basis creates the outcomes you’re looking for. That’s the role I play as a mentor. 

We can find a way to keep you accountable that works for you – I can leave you to your own devices between sessions, or check-in with you weekly, or daily if you need via email or messaging.  

Another key point of accountability is that we stick to the 12-week time frame. Continually stretching out the sessions and not implementing the agreed protocols won’t give you the desired outcome, so I will flag this if I see cancelling and shifting sessions becomes too regular. This is done from a place of love and wanting change, which is why you’ve booked to work with me.

Why is the program 3 months?

3 months is the time-frame that I’ve seen clients get the best, long-term benefits. Changing old habits and making new ones takes time. This is just the beginning of your life-long journey to better health

Will you recommend supplements?

If I think you may benefit from a supplement, or you need extra support due to a health concern I may recommend a supplement. These are extra to the price of the program.

However, I prefer to do as much as I can through food and lifestyle supports, so any supplements will be kept to a minimum and discussed with you prior to inclusion in your protocol.

Will my health insurance cover my sessions at The Nutrition Clinic?

Health insurance providers in Ireland offer an array of benefits to their members depending on the plan they are on. Here is Irish Life’s benefits page, which offers cashback for Nutritional Therapy visits.
